Christina Hendricks and Geoffrey Arend first encounter in 2007. ‘Mad Men’ star Vincent Kartheiser happened to be Hendricks and Arend’s mutual friend. They met because of him.

During an interview, Hendricks revealed that she feels for Arend at their first meeting because of his personality. She said:

[We met] through Vincent Kartheiser, who plays Pete Campbell in Mad Men. Vinnie invited several friends to a place in LA called the Magic Castle – me being one. Arend walked in, and I was like, ‘Who is this guy?’ He had amazing hair and was all disheveled - he was running late, and everyone was waiting for him. 

She opened up more and said that when Arend entered, he was full of energy. His charm, sense of humor impressed her to a high level. They both became friends easily, and Hendricks got his number. You might be amazed to know that Hendricks went home and searched about Geoffrey Arend in Google.

Christina Hendricks' Children; Says No Kids

Hendricks and her husband do not seem to be interested in having kids. Hendricks herself revealed that the couple is not interested in having children.

During an interview with health, Hendricks said, “It’s just very normal for people to say, ‘Well when you guys have kids…’ And then when I say, ‘Actually I don’t think we’re going to do that,’ people will say, ‘Oh, you say that now…'” Hendricks further said. “It doesn’t bother me, though. And, you know, there’s a small chance I could change my mind.”
