Don Lemon was born as Don Carlton Lemon on 1st March 1966, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the United States to an American mother, Katherine Clark. He had a sister named Leisa Grimes, who died due to drowning. He is of American nationality and his ethnicity is African-American.
As a child, Don joined Baker High School. Later on, he joined Brooklyn College with a major in broadcast journalism. Don Lemon was also enrolled at Louisiana State University.
