When Elsie was a child, she dreamed to be a painter, scientist or an archaeologist. However, later she got fascinated in acting and she began appearing in several TV commercials. She is now in her early teens but till date she has appeared in more than sixteen national commercials. She has been acting since the age of 5. In 2009, she was seen starring the role of Young Bridgette in the TV series, Medium. That year she also appeared in the TV series Masha and the Bear. She made her feature film debut in 2010 by playing the voice role of Agnes in the American 3D computer-animated comedy film Despicable Me. In 2015, she was seen portraying the role of Jamie White in the movie McFarland, USA.
