From the early 1960s, Elton began his romantic love affairs with Secretary Linda Woodrow. She is his first love and they also got engaged some years later. However, he got married with German recording engineer Renate Blauel on 14th of February 1984. In 1976, he revealed that he is bisexual. He got divorced with her on 18th of November 1988.
After his first married life came to an end at the end of 1998, he also revealed that he is gay openly and he began dating David Furnish. After being in love with him for about two decades, they finally got married on 21st of December 2014. He feels lucky to have him as his loving spouse.
A passionate child with big dreams in music, Elton left his school before attending his A Level examinations and began pursuing his musical dreams. It is also said that he began playing piano from the age of three and he took piano lessons at the age of 7. He finally began playing piano at a nearby pub from his mid teens and in 1968, he began wring songs for Dick James's DJM Records. He and his friend Taupin wrote their debut complex song in 1968. In 1973, he founded his own label The Rocket Record Company. He also founded the Elton John AIDS Foundation in 1992. His net worth is said to be around $320 Million.
