Flash floods and heavy winter rains led to the deaths of 12 people in southwest and central regions of Pakistan.
According to the National Disaster Management Authority, flash flood sunk villages near the southwestern town of Lasbella. The tragic incident left three people killed, affecting 200 families.
Meanwhile, nine were killed in three incidents of roofs on houses collapsing occurred due to the rains in central Pakistan. Four of the victims of central Pakistan were from Multan.

A spokesman for the provincial disaster authority, Imran Zarqoon, said emergency workers are trying to rescue people from the floods in Lasbella of Baluchistan province.
Seasonal rains cause frequent flash floods and landslides in Pakistan. The natural disaster has caused standing crops and houses damaged.
