The talented and confident Anchor Harris Faulkner filed a lawsuit against Hasbro for naming a toy after her name without her authority. To that lawsuit, there were different reactions of people since some said she did the right thing whereas some said they would be happy to have a toy named after them.

After the case was finalized, the toy is no more to be found for sale. But kids who bought the toy may still have it. She filed the lawsuit in New Jersey Federal Court demanding $5 million. The company said the toy doesn't even look like her and the same name is not enough to state a valid right of publicity claim, but settled anyway for an undisclosed amount.

Hasbro and Faulkner released a statement and said the lawsuit was 'settled amicably,' although they didn't release details. The statement said,

'The 'Harris Faulkner' toy is no longer manufactured or sold by Hasbro,'. 'However, since there still may be 'Harris Faulkner' toys or packaging with the 'Harris Faulkner' name in the stream of commerce, Ms. Faulkner reiterates that she has not endorsed or approved this product.'
