Janice Dean is a Canadian TV meteorologist. She is best known for her appearance on Fox Business and Fox News Channel. She is also known to substitute the head anchors on Fox News Live when needed. Widely known by her nickname Janice Dean, the Weather Machine, she is very close friends with other anchors like Shepard Smith, Meghan Mccain, Shannon Bream and many others.

Janice, who is currently 47-years-old with an estimated net worth of $2 million, started her career out at other Canadian and the United States based radio and TV stations like WCBS-TV, CHEZ-FM. Moving on to her personal life, the meteorologist is currently married to Sean Newman, an NYC firefighter.

According to an Instagram picture posted by Janice, she met her husband Sean in 19th December 2002. The couple was introduced to each other by Lianne Laing and Tony Harris. 

They started dating very soon and got engaged five years later on 11th Feb 2007. In the same year, they got married to each other. Moreover, together they have two children, both sons.

Their first child, Matthew Newman, was born on 24th Jan 2009. Three years later, they announced that they were expecting their second child. Their second son Theodore Patrick Newman was born on 9th February 2011.

The couple is going very strong, and there have been no rumors of them getting a divorce. In fact, the couple is very loving, and Janice loves to share how lucky she is and how much she loves her husband. She also shares pictures of her husband and children time and again on her social media.

Recently in 2018, a Facebook user named JoAnn made some strong comments on the anchor's legs. In a Facebook post, she wrote:

"Plese stop allowing Fox to dress you in those short skirts. They not flattering on you, Your legs are distracting every time you walk on screen."

Janice found the statement very offensive, and she was triggered as she was always insecure about her legs. Instead of bashing the user, she had a very polite yet awakening respond to the comment. 

She wrote,

"Hi, JoAnn,

Fox doesn't dress me. I dress myself. I'm sorry if you don't like my legs. I'm grateful I have them to walk with. You're right. I don't look like the typical person on TV, and I'm proud to be a size 10. Imagine that! You can always turn the channel if you're offended by my huge legs. Hope you don't mind. I may share your post with everyone on my FB page. All the best, Janice."
