Gail Kim decided to pursue her career as a professional wrestler and joined Ron Hutchison's School of Pro Wrestling in Toronto after obtaining bachelor's degree from Ryerson University. She also took training classes from Rob Etchevarria at the Squared Circle Pro Wrestling Gym and finally debuted wearing a mask as "The Queen of the Cats" in the Southern Ontario-based Apocalypse Wrestling Federation in the year 2000.
She joined WWE in 2002 and won the Championship in her debut match. Later, she joined TNA in 2005 and eventually become TNA Knockouts Championship in 2007. After three years in TNA, she decided to return to WWE in 2008 and again return to TNA after three months until 2011.
Gail as a champion has earned wide recognition and won the heart of millions of people. She was listed as the number one female wrestler in the world and is the first female inductee into the TNA Hall of fame. After seventeen years in the world of wrestling, Gail Kim took her retirement on 5th November 2017.
Throughout her wrestling career, Kim has won numerous championships. She won "Diva of the year in 2001", "ABC Women's Championship", "FC Women's Championship", "IWR Diamond Championship, "TNA Knockouts Championship" 7 times, "TNA World Cup 2015", "Knockout of the Year", "Queen of the Knockouts" and many other.
Moving towards her personal life, Gail Kim is married to Robert Irvine who is a well-known celebrity chef since 2012. The couple met each other on the set of Dinner: Impossible and started dating each other. Gail and Robert don't have any children together.
