'Game of Thrones' Stars Kit Harington and Rose Leslie Get Married in Star-Studded Wedding Ceremony in Scotland: Photos

Kit Harington and Rose Leslie are officially husband and wife! The Game of Thrones stars got married in a star-studded Wedding ceremony in Scotland, multiple sources have confirmed.

The couple, who first met on the set of the fantasy drama in 2012, exchanged their vows at a church on the grounds of Rose’s family’s estate, with the bride sporting a long-sleeve ivory dress with lace embellishments, a floral headpiece, and long veil. Kit, meanwhile, rocked a morning suit.

Kit and Rose tied the knot surrounded by the couple's friends and family. Guests also included their GOT co-stars including Maisie Williams, Peter Dinklage, Sophie Turner and Emilia Clarke.

Rose's father Sebastian Leslie opted for a traditional kilt as he walked his daughter into the church.

As previously reported, back in September 2017, Kit, who plays Jon Snow, and Leslie, who played the now-deceased Wildling Ygritte on the hit HBO series, announced their engagement after five years of dating.

One month after the couple's engagement news, during an interview with television host Jonathan Ross in October, the 31-year-old actor spoke out about proposing to his longtime girlfriend.

He said at the time,

I did have some plans to do it, I was going to string up some lights in some trees and do all the romantic stuff … But we were in the country and we were under this beautiful night sky and had a log fire burning and red wine, and I blew my load early. Sorry, that’s a really bad expression! I was meant to do it the day after with the lights. What I meant to say was, I popped my question a bit early. Not blew my load.

Last month, BBC News revealed the wedding date (June 23) and venue (Huntly registration office in Aberdeenshire).

A 23 June date has been posted at the Huntly registration office in Aberdeenshire. The actress’ father, councillor Seb Leslie, owns a castle in his West Garioch constituency.

Meanwhile, in February, Rose opened up how were their wedding plans going to Town & Country, revealing that she was “trying to fit in” their nuptials amid their busy schedules.

She told the magazine at the time, "I haven’t tackled it. There’s just too much to do".
