Gauhar Khan is a well-known Indian actress, model, and VJ. She is best known as the winner of the Big Boss Season 7 and also as the runner-up of Femina Miss India 2002. Gauhar Khan was born as Gauhar Zafar Khan on 23rd August 1983 into a Muslim family in Pune, Maharashtra state. She is the youngest of six siblings while one of her sisters named Nigaar Khan is also an actress. She belongs to South Asian ethnicity and holds an Indian nationality.
Gauhar has done her schooling at Mount Carmel Convent School, Lulla Nagar, Pune, and received her bachelor's degree from Ness Wadia Collge of Commerce, Pune. After completing her education she started her career as a model and did many commercial advertisements.
She started her career as a model when she was only 18 years old in 2002 and become popular within a very short time in India. Gauhar Khan was the third runner-up of Femina Miss India beauty pageant in 2002.
