On the 21st of July 1990, Geoff got married to Sue E. Tate. Sue E. Tate acted as a sweet housewife. They were happily married; however, this married life came to an end on the 17th of January 1996.
It seems like Tate's extra affairs with his current wife; Susan M. Tate was the main reason that dissolved his first married life. Two months later after he got divorced from Suzanne, he got married to Susan M. Tate. They are still married and there is no sign of them getting divorced.
Though Tate was born in Stuttgart, Germany, he was raised in Tacoma, Washington. There he got enrolled at Wilson High School. He was also able to complete his high school graduation from there and he graduated from there in June 1977. He began his professional singing career from band Babylon. After this band disbanded, he began singing for the cover band The Mob. Later he joined progressive metal band Myth. He served them as their lead vocalist and keyboardist. He formed the band Queensrÿche in 1982 which had the band member’s guitarists Chris DeGarmo and Michael Wilton, bassist Eddie Jackson and drummer Scott Rockenfield. Their debut album, The Warning was released on the 7th of September 1984. Their second album Rage for Order was released in 1986. Though he receives positive acclaim and fame from this band, he got negative attention after he began controlling this band in 1997. His net worth is said to be around $10 million.
