The 41st President of the United States, George Herbert was born on June 12, 1924, to his father Prescott Sheldon Bush and mother Dorothy Walker Bush in Milton, Massachusetts.

1945

Barbara Pierce

George H.W. Bush married to Barbara Pierce on January 6, 1945. The couple married just after George's return from the war in the Pacific and moved to a different town and gave birth to six children.

1964

His turning point into Politics

George started his career in politics in 1964 as the chairman of the Republican Party for Harris Country, Texas. and slowly involved into policy making and aimed for an American Senate seat from Texas.

1970

Runing for Senate

After multiple attempts George failed his persuasion and quit to re-try. But again in 1970 he was convinced by Nixon run for the Senate against Ralph Yarborough, and George easily won the votes.

George Herbert Walker Bush a politician and the 41st President of the United States who was born in on June 12, 1924, in Milton, Massachusetts. His parents were father Prescott Bush and mother Dorothy Walker Bush.

George and his family moved to Greenwich, Connecticut, after his birth on June 12, 1924. When he was still a child, his parents kept his nickname Poppy. He started his academic education at the Greenwich Country Day School in Greenwich.

Herbert Walker Bush attended Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts. During his high-school, after the attack on Pearl Harbor, leaving his school Bush joined the US Navy. After he finished his graduation from Phillips Academy in 1942, he became a naval aviator.

After his heroic trip overseas in the World War 2, he tied the knot with his high-school sweetheart Barbara Pierce, on January 6, 1945. They then moved to town, Trenton, in Michigan and started living in an apartment.

The successful marriage brought them, six children, Dorothy, George, Robin, Jeb, Neil, and Marvin Bush. His eldest son, George W. Bush was also elected the president of the United States as the 43rd President of the country. 

The pair was together for more than 73 years but, recently on April 17, 2018, he became all alone. His wife, Barbara died of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Just a day after his wife's funeral, George was hospitalized for blood infection which led to sepsis. He was briefly hospitalized later due to fatigue and low blood pressure. He has also become the first president to reach the age of 94. 

As the policy of not getting enrollments in Universities after being in the army, George Herbert had to struggle a lot to continue his academic degree, luckily the Yale University accepted his proposal and completed his graduation in two and a half years instead of four.

In the University, he gained membership of Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity, later elected to the Presidency. After his talents, he captained the Yale baseball team as well as became a first left-handed baseman played in the first two College World Series.

Apart from sports, H. W. Bush was also a member of the Yale cheerleading squad. In his Junior years, he was very similar to his father who was connected to the Skull and Bones secret society. George graduated from Yale as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics.

After graduation, Bush moved to West Texas along with his family and joined the business of his father. Later he shifted to Houston to lead and serve as the president of the company Zapata Petroleum Corporation. Later, he became the chairman of the organization.
