Inside the Firehouse, Geri performed George Michael's tribute song ‘Angels In Chains’ and it was her first TV performance. It was a tribute to one of her very close friend to whom she often coined as "the best kind of friend anyone could have".

‘He stood up for me and he took me in and I lived with him when I had my first child, and also when I left the Spice Girls I lived with him. So moments when I felt vulnerable. And also with music I would go and say, 'What do you think?' He meant a lot to me.’
