His height is 5 feet and nine inches. Born to Anne Pearce and father Stuart Pearce, he spent his childhood in Geelong, Victoria, Australia. 

Guy Pearce, 50, is active in the entertainment business since 1985. He is a most renowned for his role as Edward vii in the movie The King's Speech (2010), and as Harry Houdini in Death Defying Acts (2008). Likewise, his role as Aldrich Killian in the live-action movie Iron Man 3 (2013) also gathered critical acclaim.

Pearce initially attended the local private school and later went to Geelong College. He was very active in his extracurricular activities; he was a member of the Geelong Society of Dramatic Arts Junior Players. He was also a competitive amateur bodybuilder at the age of 16 and later won the title of Junior Mr. Victoria.

After a number of movies, Poor Boy was his returning act in the theatre after seven years of gap in January 2009. The play was the production of Melbourne Theatre Company, a play with music which was co-written by Matt Cameron and Tim Finn.
