Soon after graduating from graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Bachelor of Arts in broadcast journalism, she began working for CBS News as a news assistant in Cairo, Egypt. The same year, she also worked for WQAD-TV and ABC. In 1989, she joined WINK-TV Fort Myers as a weekend anchor and reporter. Since 2007, she has been co-hosting the NBC’s morning television show, Today. Her net worth is said to be around $12 million dollars.
