Hollywood Actress Diahann Carroll's Unsuccessful Marriage: Know Her Married Life With All Four Husbands

Coral Diahann Johnson, professionally known as Diahann Carroll, is an American actress, singer, and model. She is best known for major studio films like Carmen Jones, Porgy, and Bess as one of the first featured black casts. 

She has also appeared in TV shows and films like White Collar starring Matt Bomer and Tim DeKay, and Grey's Anatomy starring, Ellen Pompeo, Jessica Capshaw, Sarah Drew, and many others. 

While she is an elite actress who has been active in the entertainment industry for the last 68 years and she passed away at the age of 84 in 2019. She has gotten married four times, and they all have failed in one way or the other.

Is Diahann Carroll Single? Has She Married Again?

As of 2018, Carroll is reportedly single and living her life as an independent single woman. She has been single since the divorced her last ex-husband Vic Damone in 1996. It is shocking, but she is lived as a single woman for the past 22 years.

Diahann Carroll Marriages, Divorce, and Children

Diahann Carroll first got married back in 1956. She started dating her future husband Monte Kay, who is an American TV and Film Producer, in 1955. The duo got married the following year on 26th Feb 1956. 

The duo was married for seven years straight and also have a daughter together. Their daughter, Suzanne Kay, was born on 9th September 1960, and is 62 years old as of 2022. 

Not long after the birth of their first child, the duo called it quits, and their divorce was finalized on 14th Jan 1963. 

Diahann Carroll's Second Marriage

After her first divorce, Carroll did not get married for ten years until she fell in love with Fredrick 'Fredde' Jack Glusman. The duo started dating in 1972 and got married the following year on 21st Feb 1973.

With Glusman, Carroll did not have any children as the marriage on its own did not last very long. The duo got a divorce just five months after they got married on 20th July 1973. 

Diahann Carroll's Third Marriage

After her second divorce, Carroll again got married for the third time, just two years later. She started dating a man named Robert DeLeon in 1974 and got married to him a year later on 25th May 1975. 

The pair had a very loving and healthy marriage, and their relationship was the kind that would last a lifetime. Unfortunately,  Robert DeLeon passed away on 31st March 1977, just two years after they got married leaving Carroll alone again. 

This seems to have been a very traumatic incident for Carroll as she did not get romantically involved with another man for almost a decade. 

Diahann Carroll's Fourth Marriage

Almost ten years after losing her third husband, Carroll was back in the dating game and started dating American singer Vic Damone in 1986.

The following year, on 3rd Jan 1987, they got married to each other and were married for almost a decade.

However, like Carroll's other marriage, this one also went downhill as they got a divorce on 12th September 1996. 

Vic Damone passes away on 11th Feb 2018, in Miami. Also, Carol Diann Johnson died at the age of 84 on October 4, 2019, at her own home in Los Angeles due to a long bout with cancer.
