Anne Heche, the famous ex-girlfriend of TV host and popular celebrity interviewer Ellen Degeneres, is still in the news even though the pair has long separated. Following their separation, Heche stirred quite a controversy after she parked her SUV along a central California highway and wandered up to a stranger’s home. 

Married to Coleman Laffoon, a cameraman, after the separation, the actress, director, and screenwriter who performed a dual role in the daytime soap opera Another World (1987–91), became a mother of a son soon after. But their marriage only lasted a little more than 6 years, until Coleman filed for divorce on February 2, 2007.

On 2 March 2002, Anne and Coleman welcomed a son named Homer. But by 2007 things were quite bad between the couple and following Coleman's divorce filing, the duo got embroiled in a lengthy custody battle. Coleman revealed in custody papers that Anne was an unfit parent as she showed bizarre and delusional behaviors towards her son. Coleman won the custody battle and the divorce got finalized on 4 March 2009.
