Bijou Lilly Phillips is one of the youngest people to appear on Italian Vogue's cover at a tender age of 13. She is also an American actress and singer and is the daughter of John Phillips, a musician, and Genevieve Waite, an artist.

Bijou initially started her career as a model but later started acting and singing. In the year 1999, she made her debut as a singer with her first album I'd Rather Eat Grass. As an actress, Bijou is best known for her appearances in films like Black and White, Choke, Venom and also for portraying a recurring character Lucy Carlyle in the popular TV show Raising Hope. Meanwhile, as a model, she has also appeared in several Calvin Klein ads. 

Despite all the success in her career, Bijou dropped out of school at the age of 14 and started to live on her own with a housemaid in the year 2002. With the freedom, she could go anywhere and everywhere easily which finally led to her using drugs, drinking and partying. 

Bijou's past affairs, relationships,  boyfriends

In the year 1999, Bijou started to date John Lennon's son and musician Sean Lennon. The relationship was going smoothly and seemed like almost a perfect relationship. However, in the year 2003, after 4 years of being together, the boyfriend-girlfriend split up. As claimed by reports, Bijou allegedly cheated on Sean with his friend Max LeRoy. After the breakup, her boyfriend Sean even dedicated an entire album, titled Friendly Fire, to his ex-girlfriend. 

However, prior to Sean, Bijou was also rumored to have been in a relationship with Evan Dando and York Alec Shackleton, in the year 1995. Even though it is unknown if she actually dated any of them, there are many claims regarding the affair. 

She was also rumored to have dated musician Elijah Allman in the year 1997. The affair between the two is also not confirmed but the two were spotted together numerous times. 

Bijou current relationship, husband, child

Bijou Lilly Phillips is currently married to her husband, actor Danny Masterson. The two have been married to each other for the past 5 years. The two started dating in July of 2005 and dated until 2008 when they got engaged to each other after 3 years of relationship. Finally, after being engaged for 2 years, the duo got married on 18th Oct 2011.

Meanwhile at the age of 33, Bijou gave birth to her first child, Fianna Francis Masterson, with husband Danny on 14th Feb 2014.

In 2017, Bijou's husband publicly shared that she has been suffering from kidney disease for the past 5 years.

 

My lady has been slowing dying for the past 7 years of an incurable kidney disease. She was given the gift of an encore by a tall angel. Our daughter will have a mother. We do not take lightly how incredibly fortunate we are. 100% successful transplant. Now the real work begins for her to silence any chance of rejection. Our deepest gratitude to a perfect transplant team. And a life owed to a tall drink of water. Sláinte!
