The idea of marriage isn’t a new thing. Many people think about getting married at some point in their lifetime. Even though some marriages become successful, some fail because of various reasons. Some people don’t stop believing in themselves and their love, just like American filmmaker Ken Burns.
Burns, who has been married and divorced once in the past, is going strong with his current wife, Julie Deborah Brown. Despite the years, their married life is going strong without a hint of divorce. Keep reading to get details about their relationship and also find out about their children:
Ken Burns’ wife, Brown, is a noble lady with a non-profit organization named ‘Room to Grow.’ It is a New York-based organization that supports newborn babies that are financially poor.
Brown is a graduate of the University of Michigan and New York University. The lovely couple lives together in their Walpole, New Hampshire house.
The romantic pair Ken and Brown tied the knot on 18th October 2003 at their Walpole home, and N.H. officiated it. Dayton Duncan.
Burns and Brown have welcomed two children together. Both of them are girls, Olivia and Willa Burns. Brown isn’t the mother of Olivia and Willa because she has stepchildren from Burns’ previous marriage.
Julie Deborah Brown's husband Ken Burns was in a relationship with Amy Stecher in the past. Their love affair bloomed quickly, and thus they got married in 1982.
Together, the ex-couple Amy and Ken had two daughters, Sarah and Lily. After a while, their marriage fell apart. Eventually, it ended up in a divorce in 1993.
We accept the fact that Burns's past was quite sad because of his failed first marriage. However, he didn’t give up on love. That’s when fate made him meet his current wife.
The married pair Burns and Brown have been married for a decade, but there haven’t been any reports of marital disputes between them. That makes us clear that the couple’s relationship as a husband and wife is on great terms. The love, support, and understanding they show for one another might be the reason behind their successful marriage.
