According to the Outlet, Tyler announced that he was about to be a father. The source explained,

Tyler Perry is dating Ethiopian model, humanitarian and social activist Gelila Bekele. They have been dating since 2009 and all the rumors of Perry being gay can now be put to rest. The couple is not married but the couple may have plans to tie the knot in coming days.
The couple even has a son together named Aman Tyler Perry. He was born on November 30, 2014. Tyler Perry has spoken about his son with his partner Gelila Bekele and has said.

The little fellow is a lucky kid since his godparents are Oprah Winfrey and Cicely Tyson. In an interview on the show, The Real Daytime, Perry was asked about Oprah being little Aman’s godparents and he jokingly said, “Not Bad.” And also he added quickly,
Cicely Tyson is his godmother too so I have to say that or she’ll get me. We’ve got great godparents.
During the same interview, Perry also revealed the best advice the queen of advice Oprah has given him.
I think the best advice she’s given me is about just living in the moment. Just be present in what is going on in your life. For me, I just want to make sure that I’m enjoying it as much as I can. And that’s what is so important, you have to enjoy it. If you spend your time wondering and complaining about this and why this isn’t right and that isn’t right, you're just wasting your time. Just celebrate where you are.
