Jason Ritter's Wife Melanie Lynskey Gives Birth, Quietly Welcomes First Child
Congratulations are in order for Jason Ritter and Melanie Lynskey! The Parenthood alum, 38, and the New Zealand actress, 41, never announced their pregnancy but they have quietly welcomed their first child, a baby girl, together.
It’s unknown when the actress gave birth to her daughter but, the actor's friend Neema Barnette announced the arrival of the latest addition of the Ritter family, congratulating the new parents in early December 2018.
Alongside a selfie with the Kevin (Probably) Saves the World alum, the director, 69, wrote at the time, "Congrats to Raising Dion Co Star Jason Ritter & his wife on the birth of their beautiful Sag baby girl."
She continued,
Babies are a blessing & so is Jason! What a hands down brilliant talent & exceptional human being he is! I’m blessed to have shared creative energy with you. Thank you for giving me a seamless performance.

The couple also never announced their wedding. But as we can see in the above post, Neema calls Melanie the actor's wife, we can assure that they even have married secretly.
Most recently, the amazing couple was spotted with their adorable daughter on Saturday, January 26, according to an eyewitness.
The onlooker shared a tweet about their recent encounter. The post even got a "like" from Jason.
The fan wrote,
I saw @JasonRitter and @melanielynskey at the airport and I smiled at her and I hope she took that as ‘I love you, you’ve been in so many movies I adore and your baby is adorable’.
Melanie, who was previously married to actor Jimmi Simpson from 2007 to 2014, announced her engagement to Jason during an interview with Hollywood Today Live in February 2017. She said in the show at the time, "Now he’s my fiancé. Yes, I know, I’m announcing it."
Jason is the son of late actor John Ritter, who died from aortic dissection in 2003. He was 54.
