Jason Taumalolo began playing rugby at the age of four. Firstly, he played for the Papakura Sea Eagles before joining the De La Salle College team along with his older brother, Warner. Afterward, Jason attended Kirwan State High School and played for the team Kirwan Bears and Townsville Brothers.
Talented Taumalolo started his professional rugby career with Cowboys NYC team, North Queensland. Since that time, he has been serving it and has led the team to several titles such as 2016 World Club Challenge, 2015 NRL (National Rugby League) Grand Final, and 2014 Auckland Nines. Similarly, he also won several individual titles like Dally M Medal, RLPA Player of the year, Dally M Lock of the Year, NYC Team of the Year, etc.
Currently; Jason re-signed with the North Queensland for 10 years and will be serving it until the end of 2027 seasons.
