During the birth of Jeff Bezos, his mother was seventeen years old and she was in her high school at that time. When he was four years old, his mother married her second husband, Miguel "Mike" Bezos. Jeff joined River Oaks Elementary School in Houston, where he studied from fourth to sixth grade.

Later his family moved to Miami, Florida, where he joined Miami Palmetto High School. During his high school, he joined the Student Science Training Program at the University of Florida for which he received a Silver Knight Award. He was a high school valedictorian and a National Merit Scholar.

Jeff Bezos moved to Princeton University, from where he graduated in Phi Beta Kappa together with Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering and computer science. During his time at Princeton, he was also elected to Tau Beta Pi. He has also worked as the president of the Princeton chapter of the Students for the Exploration and Development of Space. 

At the beginning of his career, Jeff Bezos worked on Wall Street in the field of computer science. He also worked as network builder for international trade company best known as Fitel. He has also served at Bankers Trust.

In 1994, Jeff Bezos founded Amazon.com. He founded this company after making a cross-country drive from New York to Seattle, writing up the Amazon business plan on the way. In the beginning, he launched this company in his garage. Later, he left his well-paying job at a New York City, after knowing the rapid growth in Internet use. He received $300,000 from his parents to invest in Amazon.

Gradually, he expanded his company and sold over one million shares of his holdings in the company for $671 million, which was the largest amount of money he had ever earned in a sale of his Amazon holdings. After some months, he again sold his another million of shares costing $756.7 million. In the same year, he bought $83.9 million shares of Amazon stock, being 16.9% of all shares outstanding, with a market value of $83.9 billion. 

Similarly, he found a human spaceflight startup company called Blue Origin. Before that, he was interested in space travel and he intended to start space hotels, amusement parks, colonies and small cities for 2 to 3 million people. The company came into the limelight when it purchased a sizable aggregation of land in west Texas with a launch facility. Recently, he sold $1 billion of his shares in Amazon stock to finance his Blue Origin rocket company.

Jeff Bezos is an American by nationality and belongs to white ethnicity. He married his longtime girlfriend, MacKenzie Tuttle after dating her for sometimes. The couple blessed with four children. He lives a happy married life along with his wife and children without having any rumors of divorce.

Jeff Bezos is presently the world's richest person, who in his early career invested $250,000 to become a shareholder in Google. Later his investment became $3.3 million shares of Google stock. Recently, his investment has become the worth of $3.1 billion. According to some source, his current net worth is estimated to be $115.7 billion. 

Jeff Bezos has a personal museum costing $23 million, including 10 bedrooms. He has a luxurious house in Beverly Hills costing $24.5 million. His net worth also includes lake Washington mansion with the price of $28 million, which has a 4,500 Sq. ft., boathouse. He has also bought an apartment at central park west by paying $7.7 million. Jeff Bezos has established and donated to the number of organization including Bezos Center for Innovation by investing $10 million and Bezos Family Foundation for which he donated $10 million in 2009 and $20 million in 2010 to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
