After his graduation, Jeff Miller worked as Florida's state Secretary for a year under the National FFA Organization. He then attended the University of Florida and graduated in Bachelor of Arts in Journalism.
After completion of his education, Miller served as a real estate broker and a deputy sheriff before joining the public office. In 1984, he further served as an executive assistant to Democratic State Agriculture Commissioner Doyle Conner. He remained Democrat until he switched in 1997.
Furthermore, Jefferson was also a member of the of Florida House of Representative. Throughout his political career in the Florida House of Representative, he remained the member of Rules and Ethics & Elections, Utilities & Telecommunications, Council for Ready Infrastructure, and Congressional Redistricting.
Additionally, Miller during his 2nd term in the state house, became chairman of the Utilities of Telecommunications Committee. There, he also oversaw Escambia County’s board in charge of community development.
In the US House of Representatives, he won the six-way special Republican primary with 55% of the total vote as well as the special elections with 66% percent of the total vote.
Jeff is a married man. Together with his wife Vicki, he has two children, Scott Miller, Client Miller and four grand children. Their whole family is the member of Olive Baptist Church. Currently, Jeff resides in the small town of Chumuckla, Florida.
