Jessie J AKA Jessica Ellen Cornish is an English singer and songwriter born on March 27, 1988, in London, England. She is the daughter of mother Rose and father, Stephen Cornish. She attended Mayfield High School, which is located in Redbridge. She also attended Colin’s Performing Arts School to develop her skills in music, and at the age of 16, she studied at the BRIT School graduating from there.
Jessie J began her career when she was cast in Whistle, a musical by the English writer Andrew Lloyd Webber. Later, she worked in the National Youth Music Theater and appeared in The Late Sleepers.
After that, she first signed to Gut Records to record an album for the label, but the company went bankrupt before they could publish it. Then she received a contract with Sony ATV as a songwriter. She also wrote lyrics for artists Miley Cyrus, Chris Brown, and Lisa Lois.

Similarly, she also worked in the Australian reality talent show, The Voice Australia for two seasons. After that, she made an appearance in the TV special Grease Live, which aired on Fox, and also did a voice role in the animated adventure film Ice Age Collision Course.
In 2017, she published a new singles Real Deal for an M&M advertising campaign, and announced her fourth album R.O.S.E and the single Think About That.
The album was released by the Republic Record on May 22, 2018, in four parts. The four sections were Realisations, Obsessions, Sex, and Empowerment.
Additionally, she has also appeared on the Major UK charity telethons, Children in Need Rocks Manchester held at the Manchester Arena to raise money for Children in Need, and in July 2012, she performed Laserlight on the stage with a seven years old fan, Leukaemia patient Danial Sullivan.
