JJ Lane is Engaged to Girlfriend Kayla Hughes

JJ Lane and Kayla Hughes are all set to get married! The Bachelor Nation star is engaged to the former NFL cheerleader.

The former investment banker took to Instagram on Monday, January 28, to announce his engagement to his loving girlfriend.

Alongside a photo from the romantic proposal, in which the husband-to-be gets down on one knee to pop the question to his wife-to-be, he wrote, "She said YES!!!"

Kayla, for her part, posted another picture from the proposal, in which she shows off her stunning engagement ring as the couple shares a passionate kiss, on her Instagram account.

It's unknown when JJ and Kayla began dating but they made their relationship public in September 2017.       

JJ was previously married to ex-wife, Heather, with whom he shares a daughter, Gemma. He competed on The Bachelorette season 11 for Kaitlyn Bristowe’s heart in 2015 and during the show, he admitted that he cheated on his ex-wife during their marriage.

He told Kaitlyn at the time,

I made a mistake that basically has destroyed my life. I lost everything. I lost my wife. I lost my daughter half the time. Everything I had worked hard for was gone with one bad, terrible decision.

JJ previously had an affair with fellow Bachelor in Paradise season 2 alum Juelia Kinney. The pair got split after appearing on Marriage Boot Camp season 9 in 2017.

Juelia, who was previously married to ex-husband Dustin Kinney, is a single parent to Ireland Kinney of daughter Ireland Kinney. She is currently engaged to Evan Bass’ brother Aaron Bass.
