Jo Min-ki is an actor and professor based in South Korea best known for his work in TV series East of Eden. The actor made his debut as an actor at the age of 17 through the stage. He appeared on numerous plays and theatrical roles, but it took him almost a decade to gain limelight and appear on TV and movies. Apart from his love for acting, he is also an avid photographer. Moreover, he has also published two books to date.

On 20th of Feb 2018, it was revealed that Jo was accused of sexual harassment by students and that the university was investigating on the topic. 

Even though Jo's agency has denied all the rumors, many headlines are being made on the topic. According to sources, he has lost his teaching position as he was fired by the university.

Even though the actor claims that all these are rumors, he has deleted all his social media accounts including Instagram and Facebook in which he was very active. Moreover, his new drama Children of the Lesser God's press conference was also scheduled on the 21st. 

Furthermore, after the accusation from one of the students, many students from the university have started speaking out on the topic. The last blow was when theater actress Song Ha Neul, who also was one of his students spoke out. She shared how he harassed her and her friends by calling them to his room beside the campus area and forcing them to drink.

Jo Min-ki is a married man, and his wife is Kim Sun-jin. According to sources, they got married back in 1991. They also have two children together. They have a daughter named Jo Yun-gyeong and a son, Jo Syeong-hyeon.

The actor used to upload pictures of his family now and then on his social media, but since then he has deleted all his accounts. There are no pictures of his wife and children available.
