On 31st of December 1976, John got married to Judith Belushi-Pisano. Judith Belushi-Pisano is a multi talented lady; she is an actress, producer and a writer from United States. They were bonded into this married life till his death in the early 1982. His nationality was American.
John grew up in Wheaton, a suburb west of Chicago. There he got enrolled at Wheaton Central High School. He became close with Tino Insana and Steve Beshekas and together they formed a comedy troupe, The West Compass Trio. In the early 1970s, he was offered a role in The Second City. In 1972, he also appeared in the parody show National Lampoon Lemmings. From 1973, he began working for National Lampoon Lemmings as its actor, writer and director. In 1975, he joined an American late-night live television sketch comedy and variety show Saturday Night Live. He performed in this reality show till 1979. In his first session, he earned the salary of $750 /week. He was well appreciated and acclaimed for this performance. In 1975, he played the voice role in the movie Tarzoon: Shame of the Jungle. He also starred in several hit movies and TV show.
On 5th of March 1982, John died of acute cocaine and heroin intoxication in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA. He died at the Bungalow 3 at the Chateau Marmont Hotel.
