A native of Los Angeles, California, USA, John Mallory was born on 13th of January 1971, to the actress, Joyce Bulifant, and actor, Edward Mallory and later adopted by his Joyce’s third husband William Asher, a director and producer. He is a younger half-brother of Robert Asher, William Asher Jr, and Rebecca Asher and stepson of Roger Perry.
In 1990, Asher debuted in Hollywood with an American teen drama TV series, “Beverly Hills” created by Darren Star. The following year, he appeared in the TV series such as “married. with Children”, “The Hunted," “Designing Women," and “Who’s the Boss."
Though he has starred in several movies and TV series, Asher is popular for portraying the character Gary Wallace in the TV series, “Weird Science."
