John Wesley Shipp is an American Television and film actor. He was born on January 22, 1955, in Norfolk, Virginia, United States. He did his high school from Butler High school in Louisville, Kentucky and finished his University education from Indiana University.

Television Debut with Guiding Light

John as an actor started his career in 1980 with a role in a television series named 'Guiding light' where he played the role of Dr. Kelly Nelson. His role in Guiding Light helped him show his talent and earn his place in Television.

The role gained him a wide appreciation for his acting skill and admirers for his dark handsome and lean look.
