Born as Jonathan Stuart Leibowitz in New York City, New York, the United States of America to parents, Marian (née Laskin) and Donald Leibowitz, Jon was raised in an educated family. He is an American and is of Polish, Ukrainian, Belarus, and Mongolian descent.
