Jonathan Steinberg is a native of United States, born on 8th of March 1934 in the white ethnic background. He completed high school from a school in his hometown. Steinberg had a keen interest in history, so he used to spend more time in reading history books, whereas other kids were busy in comic books.
Upon graduation from his high school, Steinberg enrolled at the "Harvard University" to fulfill his aim of becoming a historian. Further, he attended "Cambridge University" and received Ph.D.
Steinberg began his career with Cambridge University as a University Lecture. After serving for 33 years at the University, Steinberg started working as a Reader in the European history, Fellow of Trinity Hall, and Vice-Master. Currently, he serves at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
As an author, Steinberg has published several books including “Yesterday’s Deterrent: Tirpitz and the Birth of the German Battle Fleet”, “Die Deutsche Bank und ihre Goldtransaktionen im Zweiten Weltkrieg”, “Why Switzerland?”, and “All or Nothing: The Axis and the Holocaust and Dies Deutsche Bank” etc.
