Guerra was raised by his parents along with his siblings. As of 2018, he is 60 years old and his birth sign is Gemini. He joined the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo, where he studied philosophy and literature. After that, he moved to El Conservatorio Nacional de Música de Santo Domingo, where he studied guitar and music theory.
