Having fallen in love at the first sight, Julia and her husband Stephen L. Hightower are together since they met at an NBA All-Star Weekend event in February 2011. The first meeting later turned into a marriage.

Stephen in an interview with Dayton Daily News re-called the moment saying:

It was love at first sight. We fell hard and we fell fast. We are ready to spend our lives together.

Stephen then took no time to take their relationship to the next level. After 7 months of dating, Julia and Stephen L. Hightower II got married on September 4, 2011, at Shaker Run Golf Course in Lebanon.

As reported, the wedding ceremony was planned to be conducted outdoor but was moved indoors due to the rain. The wedding was officiated at the Rev. Gregory Ballard Sr., former pastor at New Era Baptist Church in Middletown.

Well, Julia's husband Stephen Hightower is the vice president of Hightowers Petroleum, a Middletown based company. 

The couple, married for over 7 years, are the parents of their only child son Stephen L. Hightower III. Stephen III was born on May 22, 2013, at Atrium Medical Center, Middletown, Ohio.

Julia and Stephen have not hinted on their plans for another child. The couple is free from the mishpas of divorce. The happy family of 3 currently resides in Middletown.
