Justin Hartley started his professional career as an actor on the NBC daytime soap opera Passions in 2002. In 2006, Justin played the superhero in a television pilot for The CW titled Aquaman. During his time on the CW series, he appeared in seven-episode as billionaire Oliver Queen on the CW series Smallville.
Later in 2008, he returned to Smallville as a regular cast member, following the retirement of Kristin Kreuk and Michael Rosenbaum. After Smallville, Justin appeared in The CW comedy-drama opposite Mamie Gummer, but the show stopped its run after one season.
In February 2014, Justin played the lead character Tim opposite Anna Camp in the ABC comedy pilot Damaged Goods. Later in March, he played the role of a plastic surgeon Scott Thompson, a love interest for Josslyn Carver in the second season of the ABC drama series Mistresses. In 2016, Hartly appeared in a regular series of NBC, This Is Us.
Apart from his acting career, Justin also co-wrote the 2010 episode Sacrifice and directed the 2011 episode Dominion.
Hartley is an American by nationality, and he is an English-Irish. Justin reportedly began dating his Passions co-star Lindsay Korman in 2003. Hartly got engaged to Lindsay after dating for six months, and they married in a small ceremony on May 1, 2004.
His wife Korman gave birth to their daughter on July 3, 2004, but the couple couldn't continue their married life since May 6, 2012. After a breakup with his first girlfriend, Justin began dating actress Chrishell Stause in 2014. The couple announced his engagement in July 2016 and they got married on October 28, 2017.
