Katherine was interested in modeling since her childhood and modeled locally for several companies. In 2007 she was ranked Top 15 for the title of Miss Georgia USA and was crowned as Miss Alabama USA in 2012. She then made her name on the list of Top 10 of the Miss USA 2012 competition.
Katherine, as a model, rose to fame during the 2013 BCS National Championship Game telecast. Katherine who appeared as an audience caught the attention after announcer Brent Musburger talked about her and referred to a 'lovely lady' and 'beautiful'. A YouTube video of her attending the National Championship Game reached over 3 million views. She became a nation-wide sensation, with star-players like LeBron James, Darnell Dockett and Aaron Murray on her Twitter' follower's list.
After Katherine's BCS incident, the owner of the Miss USA pageant, Donald Trump offered her a position as a Miss USA judge. Katherine accepted an offer from American TV News Magazine, Inside Edition to cover Super Bowl XLVII.

Moving towards her personal life, Katherine Webb married Aj McCarron, an American Football player. They dated for several months. And after four months of engagement, the couple married in Orange Beach, Alabama. They are blessed with a son, Tripp McCarron and are enjoying their life happily.
