Katy Perry Gets Engaged to Boyfriend Orlando Bloom

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are all set to get married! Yes, the American Idol judge is now officially engaged to The Lord of the Rings actor.

The singer, 34, took to Instagram on Saturday, February 16, to announce her engagement to the actor, 42.

Alongside a photo of the spouses-to-be in which Katy, 34, shows off her stunning engagement ring, she wrote, full bloom.

Orlando, for his part, posted the same picture captioning it, "Lifetimes".

Further details about the romantic proposal have not been available. However, the actor reportedly popped the question on Valentine's Day.

Katy's mom, Mary Hudson, also spoke about the newlywed couple on her Facebook page.

Alongside a photo in which Katy and Orlando embrace in front of a heart-shaped arch made with red roses, Mary wrote, "Look who got engaged on Valentines Day!!".

The couple first met at CAA’s Golden Globes afterparty at Sunset Tower in January 2016 and eventually began dating.

Katy was previously married to comedian Russell Brand (2010 - 2012). Some of her popular exes are John Mayer and Diplo.

Meanwhile, Orlando, who previously dated actress Kate Bosworth (2003 - 2006), was previously married to Victoria's Secret Angels model Miranda Kerr (2010 - 2013).

The former spouses share son Flynn, 8.
