Katy Perry is known for her iconic Technicolor hair colors, be it blue or red, but the hit singer reveals her hair color is anything but bright. The singer is known for her outlandish and bizarre hair colors and costumes. In hit songs like Roar and California Girls, Katy had donned the most colorful and outlandish outfits.
Katy opens up about her constantly altering hair color and the reason behind her numerous experiments in the November issue of Glamour Magazine.
“I’m naturally the most boring dishwater squirrel brown,” the 30 years old revealed about her hair. She added," I’ve been playing with colors since I was 15." I loved the grunge green, and shocking blue was fun. Colored hair is such a huge accessory that you don’t even need to add extra stuff.”
Other than relating her hair color to earthy rodents, the singer also got candid about many other topics during the interview. She talked about her alter ego, her preference in men and empathy with men’s perfume.
“I’m Katy Perry onstage. At home I’m Katheryn Hudson. I’ve created this cartoon look when performing, but offstage I don’t always have three hours to put it together”, Katy opened up about her alter ego.
Katy got frank about men’s priming preferences. The Firework singer said, “If your teeth and nails are good, you’re a candidate. If you can’t clean under your nails and you want to touch me, forget it. And personally, the less hair, the better. I like a trimmed man but not completely waxed. I’m not into that f*ckboy look.
About her favorite fragrance, Katy revealed, “If I meet a guy in the elevator who’s wearing Acqua di Giò, I think of my first boyfriend. One of my favorite things about fragrance is the powerful memories associated with it.”
