Ken Nugent began his career, working as a lawyer, he was admitted to the bar in 1980 and established his law firm in Atlanta, Georgia. Later, he also involved himself in philanthropic activities, like providing funding for Georgia teachers and local fire stations, and working as a partner for the Georgia Teacher Scholarship, which provides local Georgia teachers with $500 for the use of school supplies or tours so that children can benefit from it.
