He was born on September 29, 1988 in Washington, D.C., United States to parents Wanda and Wayne Pratt. His parents got divorced when he was an infant. He was raised up by his mother and grandmother, Barbara Davis. He has one sister and two brothers. He is American and is of African American ethnicity.

2006

He won several titles so far. He was named the Most Valuable Player of the McDonald's All American Game and that was in 2006. He was also named the Washington Post All Met Basketball Player of the Year.

Selected to National team

He was selected for national team at the FIBA World Championship and that was in year 2010. He became leader. In that tournament he led Team USA to its first FIBA World Championship since 1994, earning MVP honors in the process.

Olympic gold medal

He won Olympic gold medal and that was in 2012. In that Olympic, he set the record of the record for total points scored in an Olympic basketball tournament. He helped the national team to won a gold medal.

2013

Donated to American Red Cross

He is very good player as well as human being. He donated 1 million dollar to American Red Cross to the victims of Tornado which was struck on the afternoon of May 20, 2013. His generosity inspired the Thunder and Nike to match his donation.
