On the 12th of October 1980, Kim got married to Ron Snyder-Britton. Ron Snyder-Britton is a makeup artist and they met for the first time on the set of Hard Country. They were having romantic married life but it came to an end in 1989.
Within a few months, Kim was seen having love affairs with Alec Baldwin. They also played the lover's role in the romantic comedy movie, The Marrying Man and they got married on the 19th of August 1993. They also welcomed their only child in 1995. She also got divorced from him in 2002.
Shy and lonely as a child, Kim began studying Ballet dance from the age of 3 but when she reached her mid-teens, she became more interested in her mother's profession and she became the school cheerleader and at the age of 16, she began modeling. During her early days, she earned a salary of $1,000 a day but she began losing her interest in modeling. In 1976, she officially quit modeling and she began acting in the television series, Gemini Man.
