Kim graduated basic college level education and started his modeling career. He started training under acting coach, Moon Won-bin to pursue his career in acting. He was noticed by some of the best production houses in Korea after he appeared in the Seoul Fashion Week.
After that, he appeared in a TV show named White Christmas and comedy drama named Vampire Idol. His impressive acting gave him a chance to appear in comedy TV film named To the Beautiful You and A Gentleman's Dignity. Kim is unmarried but is in a relationship with a Korean singer and dancer named Shin Min-a. He earns his salary from his acting and modeling career which adds up his current net worth which is estimated to be around $ 2 million.
