Harty Condolence! Kristoff St. John, a veteran actor best known for his appearance in The Young and the Restless, has died. He was 52.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed his death to Us Weekly. As for the cause of death, according to the autopsy report, he died from a possible alcohol overdose.

According to the Law enforcement sources, one of Kristoff's friends went to check on him at his San Fernando Valley home in Los Angeles on February 3 and found his body.

Police and paramedics were called at the scene but he was pronounced dead there. No sign of foul play were found at the scene.

The late actor's ex-wife, Mia St. John (1991 - 1995), spoke out about her his passing on Monday, February 4, in a since-deleted tweet.

She wrote, "THAT HOSPITAL KILLED OUR SON @TheArtofJulian THEN MY HUSBAND @kristoffstjohn. THATS WHAT HAPPENED! THEY KILLED MY FAMILY."

Three years after the couple's son died from an apparent suicide, Kristoff was hospitalized and underwent a psych evaluation.

Kristoff, who portrayed Neil Winters on The Young and the Restless, announced his engagement to girlfriend Kseniya Mikhaleva, a Russian model, in September 2018.
