Kyle Richards’ Husband Mauricio Umansky Sued For $32 Million Mansion Sale

Mahammad Arsad shekh Fri Mar, 2019

Kyle Richards’ husband, Mauricio Umansky, has been mentioned as a defendant in a suit filed on Wednesday, March 13, against him and his company, The Agency, for a $32 million Malibu mansion sale.

According to court documents obtained, the real estate broker, 48, has been accused of breach of settlement, statutory violations, listing agreement and fiduciary duties, negligent misrepresentation, intentional fraud and negligence by Sweetwater Malibu, LLC.

The company had hired television personality to sell a Malibu property on Mesa Road. It has accused Mauricio of "failing to disclose and outright misrepresenting material facts" and "self-dealing, earning secret profits".

The allegations come shortly after sources reported that Mauricio advised Sweetwater to accept an offer from a buyer named Mauricio Oberfeld.

According to Sweetwater, the real estate agent was working with Oberfeld to obtain financiers. He had only disclosed that he invested with the buyer before the sale.

Additionally, Sweetwater claims that Umansky received multiple bids - more than the $33.5 million offer. The offer was accepted from Oberfeld but it wasn't presented to the company.

The property was sold for $69.9 million at a profit of $37 million in the following year. Sweetwater is asking for funds for "damages, disgorgement of profits" as well as the cost of the suit.
