Ferrari’s father Gratien Ferrari belongs to Italian ancestry from Emilia-Romagna and by profession, he is the former mayor of the city as well as the member of the French National Assembly. She grew up alongside her two younger sibling sisters.

She enrolled at the École Française des Attachés de Presse in Lyon and graduated from the Sorbonne University with a degree in Master of 'Communication Politique and Sociale'.

Then she joined the Canal + to present the channel's weekly political magazine "Dimanche +" where she covered the French Presidential election of 2007. The following year, she became the new anchor of "Le 20 Heures de TF1", replacing Patrick Poivre d’Arvor.
