Lee Jung Shin was born on September 15, 1991, in Seoul, South Korea. His family consists of his parents and an elder brother and they currently live in Ilsan, Seoul. He completed his high schools from Jung Bal High School in Ilsan. An actor of age 25, Lee holds a South Korean nationality and he belongs to the Asian ethnicity.
Other than being an actor, he is also a famous musician, singer, and rapper. Lee made his acting debut in 2012 with a family drama Seoyoung, My Daughter. He became a member of CNBLUE in late 2009, upon the departure of the band's previous bassist, Kwon Kwang Jin.
Famous for his very first role in Seoyoung, My Daughter which made a record by gaining a peak viewership rating of 47.6%, making it the highest-rated Korean drama of 2013, Lee garnered the Best New Actor nominations from the local award-giving bodies.
He was subsequently cast in the supporting role in a movie The Blade and Petal (2013) and the melodrama Temptation (2014) and later he won his first acting award, as the Best New Rising star at the 3rd Drama Fever Awards.
In 2015, Lee finally got his first leading role in the KBS2 drama Thank You, My Son. The same year, he became a host of Mnet's M Countdown alongside Key of SHINee. He subsequently left the show after hosting a season in 2016.
In 2016, Lee starred alongside Jung Il-woo and Park So-dam in tvN's romantic comedy, Cinderella and the Four Knights. Moreover, Lee also released his first solo single; Confession for the drama's soundtrack. Lee later appeared in the historical SBS drama, My Sassy Girl in 2017 as Kang Shin-woo.
As per the records, Lee is not dating anyone currently. In a few interviews over the years, he kept on saying that his friends encouraged him to date while he was still young, but he had other plans for himself.
Further, he added that he had no problem getting married, and revealed that the woman he marries should be gentle and kind. When interviewed about his first love, then he remembered falling for her eyes as he exclaimed, She had cat eyes!
However, recently there are rumors that he is involved in an affair with actress-singer-girlfriend Park Soo-jin. But, nothing more can be heard of the rumored boyfriend-girlfriend relationship until now.
