Lenora Crichlow was born Lenora Isabella Crichlow on 4 January 1985. She was born in Westminster, London, the United Kingdom to father Frank Crichlow and mother Lucy Addington. She is of English nationality and belongs to mixed ethnicity (Afro-European).
Her father is the founder of a restaurant named The Mangrove. She grew up in her hometown along with her three siblings named Amandla Crichlow, Francesca Crichlow, and Knowlton Crichlow. Crichlow attended the University of Sussex and received her degree in drama.
