Leonardo DiCaprio Pays Tribute to Luke Perry After His Death From Massive Stroke

Leonardo DiCaprio is mourning Luke Perry's death! Hours after the passing news of the Beverly Hills, 90210 emerged on Monday, March 4, the Titanic star took to Twitter and shared a touching tribute in honor of him.

DiCaprio, who worked with the television personality on the upcoming Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, wrote, "Luke Perry was a kindhearted and incredibly talented artist."

The Oscar-winning actor, 44, added,

It was an honor to be able to work with him. My thoughts and prayers go out to him and his loved ones.

The Quentin Tarantino-directed movie, Once Upon a Time In Hollywood, which is set to release on July 26, 2019, is going to be the last movie of the late actor.

Days after he suffered a massive stroke, on Monday, March 4, Perry passed away at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank, California. He was 52.

He took his last breath surrounded by mother Ann Bennett; step-father Steve Bennett; his children Sophie and Jack; fiancé Wendy Madison Bauer; ex-wife Minnie Sharp; brother Tom Perry; sister Amy Coder.

Perry had a heart attack at his home in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles, on Wednesday, February 27, after which he was transported to the hospital.

Multiple stars including his Beverly Hills, 90210 co-stars, Ian Ziering and Shannen Doherty, paid respect to him on social media sites at the time.
