Liam received his formal education from Herricks High School. He also attended the State University of New York at Buffalo and Syracuse University. At the end of the 1990s, he worked at Newsday. He also put on as the lead host for the following 2016-17 and 2017-18 Premier League seasons for NBC Sports Network.
