Lori Loughlin Pleads Not Guilty to Fraud in College Admissions Scandal

Both Lori Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, pleaded not guilty to charges of fraud and money laundering conspiracy after being arrested for their alleged involvement in the college admissions scandal.

According to court documents obtained, the couple entered their pleas on Monday, April 15. They requested appeared in court again and entered pleas for money laundering charges brought against them on April 9.

Lori, 54, and Mossimo, 55, were previously offered a plea deal including a minimum two-year prison stint. However, they reportedly rejected the offer of the prosecutors.

The Fuller House star was arrested for the scam on March 13 while her husband was taken into custody one day earlier.

The pair were charged with "conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud".

They reportedly "agreed to pay bribes totaling $500,000 in exchange for having their two daughters designated as recruits to the USC crew team."

Their daughters, Olivia Jade, 19, and Bella Rose, 20, are still enrolled in the University of Southern California.

The couple appeared in court on April 3 and during their hearing, a judge said that they could face a maximum sentence of 20 years in federal prison, probation for three years and a $250,000 fine.
